About Me
Hi! I am Andrea, a homeschooling mom of five amazing children! I was born with an insatiable desire to learn and try everything, but felt stifled in my ability to learn in school. One day I was admitted into an experimental program where I spent one school day a week in an environment where the tools and inspiration to learn and grow were laid before me to learn and progress at my own pace. That one day a week excited my desire to learn and propelled me forward, eventually graduating with a Bachelors in Science with a 4.0 GPA.
I wanted my children to develop that same love of learning and insatiable curiosity, so despite my initial worries and fears, I began homeschooling with this goal in mind. Along the way my children and I overcame challenges with dysgraphia, dyslexia, right brain learning, college admission and more. Our love of learning brought us through it all.
I learned innumerable lessons and developed tools and products to fill the gaps in what we needed and what was available. Because of being a recovering perfectionist, we tried an amazing amount of curriculum looking for the perfect fit, and many times developed our own. I created this website to share the knowledge and lessons I learned along our journey and hopefully bless the lives of others with sharing this website and the products that made our lives easier.
